TACO SOUP by CYNDI65, Member © 2012 Sarah Phillips, baking911.com
You don't really need more seasoning - but you can add salt and pepper if you want. If you want it more spicy - try adding a few red pepper flakes. Or get the hot taco seasoning mix. This makes an incredible brunswick stew too! Add 1 of the plastic tubs of BBQ pork and 1 plastic tub of BBQ chicken (usually found in the refrigerated section.) I made it that way for a cookout that we had a few months ago and everyone had a fit over it!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 lb ground hamburger meat
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can (15oz) Ranch-Style beans
1 can (16oz) pinto beans
1 can (11oz) cream-style corn
1 can (10oz) Ro-tel tomatoes
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 pkg dry taco seasoning mix
1 pkg dry Hidden Valley Ranch buttermilk dressing mix
3 cans water. Start with 3 - you might want more if you like it more juicy.
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix everything together in a dutch oven and simmer for at least 30 minutes. Better the longer it does simmer. This makes a lot.
