| ... plus some fillers we dont need...A box cake has its place and is a great learning tool. Its how I got started baking (as well as many other pastry chefs) and how it teaches technique and how technique never changes. All that plus a little more... just glad you are all here in my cheering ... |

| ... about that. You can search here or just go to the cake categories. I use the mousseline buttercream recipe that is on here. For kids though I use Pastry Pride or Rich's Bettercream or a chocolate ganache. I am sure others will chime in here. |

| ... say it, because I HATE IT when cakes stick to the bottom of the pan. I also LOVE my silicone counter mat, and use it what I need to roll out pastry crust or knead fondant. LOVE IT! I bough all my silicone mats when they have gone on super-sale on amazon. They last for YEARS! |
